Maria has decorated the studio and I put up the outside lights. Looks very festive. All ready for the Christmas Market next weekend.

It was a nice day and I was working at home so I went for a lunch time walk in Wollaton Park (only 10 minutes from the house). I had forgotten how lovely it was – should go there more often. I spent ages wondering why I couldn’t get the camera to focus – until [...] It rained the whole weekend in Swansea, still we walked round the Marina, a tall ship had recently arrived. I had left the camera set at 1600 ISO and in the rain etc. forgot to check so these pictures are a little grainy. Spectacular – would have been even better without the rain. There was [...] Wanting to get away from it all for a couple of days (and having one spare holiday day) we went to see Claire. We drove through Noth Wales and then down the coast towards Carmathen before ending up at Claire’s flat in the evening. Here are some pictures from our latest visit. I was working at home today and thought there was quite a lot of activity outside. It turns out that they had a car fitted with cameras and were filming! Robert and Claire came home this weekend and we all went to Patchings for the day, we had a lovely picnic lunch and then stayed on for the Michael Ball concert.
