Browser wars have started again

Google is about to release a new browser – ‘Chrome’ as beta and Microsoft have just released Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 – IE Looks Good Again.
FireFox V3 was released recently – so which browser do we program against? Standards are just not standard enough.

Filming?

I was working at home today and thought there was quite a lot of activity outside. It turns out that they had a car fitted with cameras and were filming!

Michael Ball – Patchings Art Centre

Robert and Claire came home this weekend and we all went to Patchings for the day, we had a lovely picnic lunch and then stayed on for the Michael Ball concert.

Following the concert (which was great) we had a firework spectacular.

London Triathalon

Today I went to London to meet up with the Olympus UK Photo Safari Group and to photograph the Triathalon. Here are some pictures from the day.

Finally on the way home I took this picture from Canning Town DLR station of the O2 dome floating on a road bridge with the river Lea in the foreground.
